I didn’t get her name because I was in a rush, but the older hispanic woman working the counter this morning (4/22) is an angel. I was having the most godawful morning on the way to work, just everything that could’ve possibly gone wrong going wrong, we all have those. My usual Shipleys was closed so I had to stop at this one on the way to work, and I went in not realizing there was something wrong with my card. It declined three times despite me having money in my account and I told her “Never mind.”, resigned to go to my 8 hour shift starving, when she told me “Just take it. You can pay me next time!” with a smile. I could’ve hugged her. I have never been to this location before, she had no reason to think I’d be back, and she just let me go because I think she could tell I was having a rough morning. This will now be my go-to for breakfast on the way to work, and as soon as I get my card working again, I will be back to pay for my donuts and give her a massive tip. THAT is what service should be.

Delicious, friendly, and fast! This is our neighborhood Shipleys. True story I went here when it first opened and it was gross. It was ran from different people. I gave it a chance after a while and most definitely improved. I’m assuming it’s the owners who are usually there on the weekends. Our favorites; sausage and cheese kolaches, glazed, and the various types of filled donuts!

I gotta start off with recommending the brisket & cheese kolaches— WOWWWW!! 🤩🤩🤩 I typically don’t eat meat, but give you don’t find a brisket & cheese kolaches often, I HAD TO TRY IT!! I’ve gotta say, even though in the day I visited, they prepared it with different dough and had more of a pizza consistency… the flavor & fall off the bone of the brisket was worth it. This is probably some of the best brisket I’ve had in awhile, including some of the steakhouses I’ve visited in the past. The customer service is on point & makes me want to return again. They provide the warmth, family-oriented service you don’t typically find, reminded me of good ol’ Sugar Land businesses from when I was growing up here.

Review from 2024: Fast forward a few years and I back again. This time it was slightly on the miss side when it came to customer service. Everyone seemed occupied sitting around and doing random non-work stuff. Only one person was behind the counter even though I saw about 3-5 employees. I only came to buy boxes of donuts to take back home with me. Typically, they use the 6-donut box, but this time, she was insistent on using the flat dozen box....but I had to be insistent on two 6-donut boxes since I was taking it in my personal bag. And YES donuts are allowed in a personal/carry-on!!! I ordered a chocolate filled donut for myself. I came in the morning, so they were pretty much fully stocked with the ones I selected. The donuts seem much smaller than last time...and I was able to down 3-4 donuts at once back then....now it would probably be more like 5-6. It was roughly $11 for a dozen donuts. It tasted okay. Would I return? yea, I would. Review from 2018: I feel like this place can be hit-or-miss for service and products based on other reviews. Luckily I had two good experiences. My first visit...I actually came for the chocolate filled donuts. Unfortunately since we did c
